Safeguarding in Football is everyone's responsibility
Led by a network of 8500 welfare officers club aim to provide a safe and fun environment for all.
If you want to play your part, then we would encourage to ask your child’s club the following questions:
Is my child’s coach Disclosure and Barring Service(DBS) checked, FA Trained and Qualified?
How can I get the clubs safeguarding policy and procedures?
Who is the club welfare officer of my child’s team and how do I contact them?
What is the role of CWO?
What should I do if I have a complaint?
If I have a concern about a child or someone’s behavior towards a child what should I do?
The FA would not expect clubs to:
Discourage you from staying to watch or from being involved.
Allow club officials to operate independently of the club.
Have coaches showing Favoritism or personally rewarding specific children.
Accept inappropriate physical contact between coaches and players.
A “win at all costs” attitude that impacts a child’s well being.
Have coaches who invite players to spend time alone with or to visit or to stay at their home.
If you have any concern, contact your CWO.

Please Be Considerate to Our Neighbours
– Walking, cycling and sharing car lifts where ever possible.
– Use public transport when possible. The 26/27 bus service is very regular – see link
– If you do have to use a car please use the car park situated down the drive and along the track by the hedge when weather permits. If you do need to park on the road please do so on the same side of the road as the field. (This should make it safer for our younger players).
Finally, we aim to get along with local residents – polite request – please knock mud off your boots whilst on the site and not along the road in front of local resident’s houses.
Your help in this matter is much appreciated.
Note to all HOME team parents including Worcester City. When possible PLEASE could you park at the Convent end of Battenhall Road where it is at it’s widest.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND CO-OPERATION
